She married Raymond Wesley Moss on July 23, 1941 in Woodward, Oklahoma. The couple lived at Bloomfield for one year then moved to the Moss Homestead. Born to this union were three children, Raymond Dale, Linda Mae, and Sharon Marie.
Marie enjoyed being a Homemaker, Housewife, Mother and Grandmother. More than anything she loved working in her yard and flower beds. Many a relative came to visit and was immediately put to work pulling weeds or mowing the grass. Surprisingly enough she was also a basketball enthusiast, especially when her son was coaching and her granddaughter was playing. She traveled many miles to many games to cheer them on. Marie was a great cook and often tried to share her talents with family members, but some are still confused by egg shell measurements. She always made sure her grandchildren were bundled up to go outside when it was cold even if it meant underwear on the head for a stocking cap. Marie also enjoyed crafting with her sisters and whenever they got together they were always making something. Their quilting activities resulted in several beautiful quilts for family members. Harvest time was a special time with family and Marie was often seen driving to the fields to check the progress and feed the crew. Marie was an active member of the Church of the Firstborn and enjoyed fellowship with many brothers and sisters.
Marie was proceeded in death by her husband Wesley; parents, Jack and Rosie Burba; grandsons Dusty Moss and Shaun Scheier and sister Bertha Balfour.
She is survived by her son Raymond Dale and wife Kathy, Alva; daughters Linda Wagner, Edmond, Sharon Arnold and husband Jim, Edmond; sister Virginia Damon, Enid; brother, Melvin Burba, Vici; grandchildren; Dianne and husband Steve, Rowlett, TX, Justin and wife Gretta, Berryville, AR, Krista and husband Chris, Edmond, Michael, Edmond; great grandchildren, Danielle and Mason, Rowlett, TX, Kinsley and Brock, Edmond, Stran, Berryville, AR, and Trenton, Edmond.
