Virginia LaVaughn Cummins, 71, Waynoka
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Terri Lynn in 1964; her husband, Alfred, in 1978; two infant brothers, Clayton Eugene in 1941, and Robert Keith in 1939; her sister, Wilma Nutter; one grandson, Matthew Nutter in 2003; an infant great grandchild, Trevor Dale Palmer in 2003.
LaVaughn is survived by one son Alfred Young and his wife, Lisa, of Weatherford; seven daughters, Pamelia Bell and her husband, Jimmy, of Hermitage, Tennessee, Angela Holden of Dallas, Texas, Alfreda Schultz and her husband, Bob, of Big Piney, Wyo., Arthetta Long and her husband, Wayne, of Wichita, Kan., Arnetta Ball and her husband, Marty, of Amarillo, Texas, Kristi Phillips and her husband, Bill, of Covington, and Sherry Dayle Wright and her husband, Bob, of Woodward; one sister, Sondra Gilreath and her husband, James, of Watonga, and one brother, James Dale Liston, Jr. and his wife, Verna, of Vici; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Waynoka First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Newton and Rev. David Shaw officiating. Interment will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Vici, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Waynoka Nursing Center.
