ROSALETA "ROSA" WHITE CASTOR

10 Mar 1945 - 4 Aug 2008

The funeral for Rosaleta “Rosa” White Castor, 63, of Enid, will be 11 a.m. today, Aug. 8, 2008, in the Church of The First Born, Vici. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Vici. Arrangements are by Shaw Funeral Home, Vici.

She was born March 10, 1945, in Mutual to Willard and Hattie Burtleson White and died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2008, in Mannford.

She attended Mutual and Vici schools and graduated from Dundalk High School, Baltimore, Md. in 1963. She married Von Lorraine Castor July 17, 1961, in Clayton, N.M. They lived in Sapulpa until 2004, when they moved to Mannford, then settled in Enid one year later. She was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.

Surviving are her daughter, MaLisa McPhearson of Mannford; three sons, Marvin Castor of Enid, Scott Castor of Vici, and David Felix of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Roy White of Mutual; two sisters, Vea Dick of Colonial Heights, Va., and Evelyn Moss of Vici; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Von, one infant son, two brothers, and two sisters.
