Graveside Services for Bob D. Jones will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at the Prairie Bell Cemetery in Putnam, OK. (Redinger, Seiling)
Bob D. Jones, of Putnam, passed from this life on December 14, 2018 at his home.
Bob was born to Elmer and Iwaloni Dixie Jones in Putnam, OK on June 26, 1940. He grew up in the Putnam area before moving to the Wichita area with his family.
On June 18, 1967 he was united in marriage to Anna Louise Jones in the Orion Baptist Church. The couple had two daughters, Debra and Pam. The couple initially made their home in Sapulpa before moving to Enid in 1968. Bob and Anna later moved back to the Putnam area in 2003.
Bob worked as a lineman for OG+E and after retiring, worked as a subcontractor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Bob could usually be found helping and serving others. He was a member of the Putnam Christian Church where he had served as treasurer. He was also a member and past president of the Putnam Senior Citizens Center. Bob was also elected to the Dewey County Historical Society Hall of Fame.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves his legacy with his wife of 51 years, Anna Jones; daughters Debra Tharp of Enid, OK and Pam Manley of Yukon, OK; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Donations in Bobs honor may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in c/o Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663)
