Linda Beth (Cline) Bluejacket

Linda Beth Bluejacket, age 74 of Edmond, passed away Thursday, December 05, 2019 in Edmond. Linda was born December 15, 1944, in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was one of three children born to Kenneth Ray Cline and Creola Irene (Hutchison) Cline. Linda grew up a country girl in Putnam, Oklahoma. She attended Putnam School and graduated high school in1963. After high school she married Dennis Butcher and together they had two daughters, Shannon and Lori.

Linda lived and worked in Oklahoma City most of her life. For many years she worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Mercy Health Center. She later worked over 20 years as an executive assistant at Dean Witter Financial Services before retiring in 2009. After retiring, Linda worked a short time as a volunteer at the Mercy Hospital Gift Shop.

On January 24, 2015, Linda married Henry Bluejacket and resided in Newcastle, OK. While living in Newcastle she became an active member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church. There she sang in the choir and participated in the Christmas programs.

Throughout her life, Linda enjoyed playing the piano, sewing and working crossword puzzles. After she married Henry, they enjoyed traveling.

Linda was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She lived most of her life as a single working mother. She worked hard to provide for her daughters and taught them how to be independent and hard working. After Linda became ill, she moved back to Edmond to be close to her daughters. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by:

Parents, Kenneth and Creola Cline,

Infant sister,

She is survived by:

Husband, Henry Bluejacket of the home in Edmond,

Two daughters, Shannon Anderson and husband Dan of OKC,

Lori Fleet and husband Bob of Edmond.

One brother, Curtis Cline and wife Ruby of OKC.

Four grandchildren, Eric Fleet of Chicago, Ryan Fleet of Edmond,

Kim Fletcher and husband Shane of Yukon, Thomas Fleet of OKC.

Three great grandchildren, Dalton, Addy and Gunner.

2 step-grandchildren, Kenneth Knapp and wife Katie of Moore,

Troy Knapp and wife Kristen of Norman.

10 step-great grandchildren.

Also several nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 9, 2019, at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Interment will be at 3:00 PM, at Prairie Bell Cemetery in Putnam, OK. Funeral arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home, 3132 Tri City Ave. Newcastle, OK.
