Connie Kay Chain Roberts went home to be with her Lord Jesus on June 27, 2023. She was born March 17, 1947 to George and Georgia (Brandly) Chain of Oakwood, Oklahoma. She married Charles Roberts on April 6, 1966. They were married for 57 years.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of the home; a son, Clark Roberts of Oakwood; four granddaughters, Jordyn Richey and husband D.J. and their son Obie of Watonga, Javehn Yoder and husband Joel and their daughters Rylee and Brooke of Elkhart, IN, Jasher Roberts of Weatherford, and Jerneigh Roberts of Thomas; her brothers, Frank Chain and wife Velda and Orin Chain and wife Pam; sister Emily Stinson and husband Joe and brother-in-law David Brown all of Oakwood, OK.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents George and Georgia Chain; son Bradley Charles Roberts; a brother G.O. Chain, sister-in-law Janis Chain, and a niece, Kristi Irvin; her twin sister, Colleen Brown and sister-in-law Carol Chain.
Connie loved her Lord Jesus Christ and lived by the scripture Phillipians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. When she better understood what it meant to be a Christian, she rededicated her life to the Lord.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Oakwood Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Yoder officiating. Memorials may be made to the Cookson Hills Christian Ministries with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724.
