Geraldine (Roberts) Weber
January 12, 1941 ~ April 30, 2026

Geraldine Weber, 85, was born on January 12, 1941 to George and Helen (Bartell) Roberts in a farmhouse northeast of Oakwood, Oklahoma on the Dewey County/Blaine County line. The house became affectionately known as The Old Brick House. She passed away April 30, 2026 which was her mother’s birthday. Geraldine enjoyed the farm life and loved being outdoors.

Geraldine married Bob D. Weber on January 26, 1958. She graduated from Oakwood High School in 1959. She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1962. Her first teaching job was at Greenfield grade school from 1962 to 1967. She then began teaching 5th grade at Watonga grade school in 1967. As the years went by, she acquired her Master’s Degree in Education Administration eventually becoming principal at Watonga Middle School then became the principal at Watonga Grade School. Geraldine retired in 2000 after thirty-eight years of service. She touched many lives during her tenure.

In the 1980’s she began 5K and 10K runs. She then progressed to competing in triathlons and eventually competed in an Ironman Triathlon when she was 64 years old.

Geraldine liked to travel, with the Grand Canyon being her top destination. She rode the mules to the bottom five times, the last time at 75 years old.

Geraldine is survived by her son, Brian of Yukon, Oklahoma and dear friend Timothy Klotz; a sister, Beverly King of Las Vegas, Nevada; and brother Charles Roberts of Oakwood, Oklahoma; Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bob D. Weber.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Oakwood, Oklahoma. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dianna Matli with Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Oklahoma handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Watonga United Methodist Church at 420 N. Weigle, Watonga, OK 73772.
