Tuesday, July 17th, 1928 - Wednesday, November 1st, 2006

Joe Benefield, 78, died Wed., Nov. 1, 2006 in OKC. He was born July 17, 1928 in Hydro, OK to Emery James & Katheryne Benefield.

Joe was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Imogene, of the home; Sons: Danny Benefield & wife Linda, Gary Benefield, Randy Benefield, and Jim Benefield, all of OKC; Daughters: Shawna Benefield of OKC and April Masoner of Choctaw; extended family, Stephanie Mellies & Tina Seilers both of the home, Ed Murray, Tommy Vanderberg, Howard Vanderberg, & Charity Jeck; Brothers: J.D. Benefield & wife Mary of Burbank, CA, Francis Benefield & wife Bonnie of OKC, Harrylou Benefield & wife Sharon of Sherman, TX, Miles Benefield & wife Pat of OKC; Grandchildren: Jeff, Brad, Cindy, Randi McSwain, Kandi Haney, Valeri, Lindsay, Tara, Braydon & Devin; and great grandson Bailey.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tues., Nov. 7, 2006 at Northwest Church of Christ, 4301 NW 23rd St.

Committal service will follow at 3:00 PM at New Herman Cem. in Leedey, OK.

Imogene Benefield, 80, of Oklahoma City, passed away December 27, 2009. She was born February 2, 1929 in Leedey, Oklahoma to Floyd and Jewel Ferrell. Imogene loved children and was a member of Northwest Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by:
• Her husband, Joe Benefield on November 1, 2006;
• Her parents, Floyd and Jewel Ferrell;
• And brother, Duane Ferrell.

Survivors include:
• Her children, Danny Benefield and wife Linda, Gary Benefield and wife Amanda, Randy Benefield, Floyd James Benefield, Shawna Kay Benefield;
• Grandchildren, Jeff Benefield, Brad Benefield and wife Beth, Cindy Benefield, Lindsay Benefield, Tara Benefield, Randi McSwain and husband Brandon, Kandi Haney and husband Kevin, Valeri Benefield, Devin Wynn, Breydon Benefield, Tyler Vanderberg, Jade Jeck, Holly Jeck;
• Great grandchildren, Baily, London and Brylea;
• Sister, Ila Mae Williamson;
• Brother, Odell Ferrell;
• Her extended family consisting of: Ed Murray, April Benefield, Charity Jeck and husband Allen, Tommy Vanderberg, Howard Vanderberg, Tina Seiler, Stephanie Mellies, along with 450 other children that called her mom.
• She loved spending time with her cousin, Donna Pfeiffer and close personal friends Jane Miller, Maryah Guice and Theresa Riccio;
• She has numerous other cousins, relatives and countless friends.
