???? ~ August 22, 1979

Taloga – Penn H. Hamar, 68, died Wednesday in Fairview. His service will be at 2 PM Saturday in the Taloga high school auditorium with the Rev. Ewel Vaughan, pastor of the First Christian Church at Seiling, officiating. Burial will be in the Mounds Cemetery under direction of Shaw Funeral Home, Taloga.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; one son, Jerald, Mutual; two daughters, Ruth Ann Barron, Bighton, Kansas, and Iva Maxine Phillips, Sharon; two brothers, Grant, Taloga, and Sherman, Fortuna, California; one sister, Francis Gorrell, Clinton; and seven grandchildren.
