Zeta Marie Foust Young

The funeral for Zeta Marie Young, 95, of Putnam, will be 2:30 p.m. today, May 23, 2009, at Assembly of God Church in Taloga. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Putnam. Arrangements are by Shaw Funeral Home, Vici.

She was born Sept. 20, 1913, in Boise, Idaho, to James and Ollie McCrack-en Foust, and died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, in Seiling.

She was raised on a farm northeast of Putnam, attending local schools.

She married Cecil Ray Young Aug. 11, 1930, in Cordell, residing near Putnam. They moved to Taloga in the early 1980s.

She was a member of Assembly of God.

Surviving are four sons, Andrew Young of Taloga, Hoy Young of Ponca City, Roy Young of Seiling and Huell Young of Tulsa; one sister, Wanda Lee Davis of Thomas; 15 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; seven sisters and four brothers.
