Johnnie Dewayne Fox, son of Floyd Edward Fox, Sr. and Margaret Alois (Barnard) Fox was born April 15, 1945 at Leedey, OK. He passed from this life October 5, 2020 at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 20 days at Yukon, OK.

Johnnie grew up in the Leedey community and graduated from Leedey High School. He attended SWOSU at Weatherford, OK. before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1963. Following his honorable discharge in 1965, he returned to Leedey, OK. where he was engaged in farming and ranching. He also worked as a glassman where he did all types of glass work. Johnnie was united in marriage to Linda Carol (Barnes) Gilbreath and two children, Robbin and Michael Gilbreath. They were active in the Leedey community and the Leedey First United Methodist Church prior to relocating in Wapanucka, OK. where they resided for 12 years until finally settling in Yukon, Ok.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Sr. and Margaret Fox, his brothers, Floyd Fox, Jr. and Phillip Fox. He is survived by his wife, Linda Fox of Yukon, OK., his children Denise Fox of Las Vegas, NM. and Jami Fox of Woodward, OK. and his stepchildren, Robbin Gilbreath of Wiley, TX. and Michael Gilbreath of Oklahoma City, OK. Daughter in law Tammy Gilbreath, of Edmond Ok. Three grandchildren, Devin Crabtrey of Wiley, TX., Ashley Taylor of Edmond, OK. and Brittnay Gilbreath of Edmond, OK. and great grand’s Addie Eidenshink, Wyatt and Caden Digsby. His sister, Lomas Harrel, other relatives, and friends.
