Foster, Paul A., 88, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born December 7, 1922 in Pauls Valley, OK to Thomas and Nota (Guin) Foster. Paul was united in marriage on March 7, 1947 in Norman, OK to Allene South.
Paul attended the St. Joseph Catholic Schools until transferring to Norman High School graduating in 1940. Paul's passion for music led him to study music at OU. He also enjoyed building violins and attending Blue Grass Music Festivals with his wife, Allene. Paul loved gardening and was well known for his watermelons and strawberries. He also raised bees and produced honey. Paul followed politics closely and was a fan of Glenn Beck. He owned and operated Paul's Dirt, Sand & Gravel from 1954 – 1988.
Paul is survived by his wife, Allene of the home; one son, John Foster of Homer, Alaska; three daughters, Jane Mullholland of Norman, Paula Rucker of Norman and Ann Hrebec and husband Dennis of Springfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Dale Foster, Bailey Duval, Patty Tate, John Paul Mullholland, Emily Rucker, Robert Rucker, Brian Hrebec and Brenton Hrebec; and four great grandchildren, Kami Tate, Zander Tate, Conner Duval and Paisley Mullholland. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Foster and one sister, Gwendolyn Pierson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in the First Baptist Church of Leedey, Oklahoma with interment following in the Evergreen Cemetery, Leedey.
