Kay Darleen (Henexson) Smith
June 29, 1962 ~ April 5, 2021

Kay Smith, 58 year old Camargo resident, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Camargo Cemetery with Craig Riffel officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home, Woodward in charge of arrangements.

Kay Darleen Henexson was born on June 29, 1962 in Richmond, Virginia to Elzie Leroy and Shirley Irene (Puffenberger) Henexson. Kay grew up in Pickerington, Ohio and graduated from Pickerington High School. She worked for the Ohio State Bureau of Collections in Ohio before moving to Camargo, Oklahoma. After being together for 25 years, she was united in marriage to Kerry M. Renfro on March 12, 2021 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Camargo.

She worked for Goetzinger Abstract and Title Company, Mitchell, Gaston & Mitchell Law Firm and was currently working for Riffel and Riffel Law Firm. Kay enjoyed reading and she loved her horses and her grandkids. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Kerry Renfro of the home; father, Leroy Henexson; two daughters: Sara Patton and husband Chris, Rachel Smith; one brother, Gene Henexson; two sisters: Deanna Blair and husband Don, Terry Zeller and husband Rick; seven grandchildren: Lia Smith, Hannah Wolfel, Levi Patton, Violet Patton, Kamille Sparks, Kayson Mack, and Lola Sharpton; other relatives and many friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Henexson.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Camargo Cemetery with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
