Virgel Eadger White was born April 16, 1936 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Viola and William Pratt White. He passed away November 11, 2017 at Seiling, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 25 days.
Virgel grew up near the Twin Hills in Roger Mills County. After graduating from Durham High School he was inducted into the United States Army. He returned home and farmed and later worked for Roger Mills County retiring in 2015. Virgel was married to Romona Rae (Parker) White at Wellington, Texas on October 1, 1984.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Eugene (Gene) White.
He is survived by his wife, Romona, of the home; 3 children, Cassandra Mayfield, Brenton Mayfield and wife, Michelle and Curtis Mayfield and wife, Kathy; 4 grandchildren, Krysten Bryer and husband, Anthony, Brooke Squires and husband, Turner, Bill White and Lana Christ; 4 great grandchildren, Addysen Squires, Presley Squires, Parker Bryer, Taden Bryer and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made to
Westview Boys Home at P.O. Box 553, 120 W. Broadway, Hollis, OK 73550.
