Juaquin Marie (Calkins) Stuteville, 79, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013. She was born June 12, 1934, in Lenora, Okla., to Robert Floyd and Olive Marie (Shanley) Calkins.
Juaquin was a graduate of Taloga High School, and a U.S. Army wife, who traveled the west before settling back down in Oklahoma.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing golf and playing bridge, but her love in life was being “Nana” and “Grandma” to her precious little ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Ray Stuteville (2006); her parents; three brothers, C.L., Clifford and Loran; and one sister, Margie Meyer.
Juaquin is survived by three daughters, Yvonne Alley and husband Larry of Rockwall, Texas, Marilyn Kroll and husband Monty of Rockwall, Texas, and Deborah McKee and husband Koty of Mustang, Okla.; as well as seven grandchildren, Josie, Jamie, Kara, Stevi, Kala, Miranda and Katlin; great-grandchildren, Adasyn, Melissa, Ryder, and one coming soon; and brother, Larry Calkins and wife Pat.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, Okla., with burial to follow at 3 p.m. in Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling, Okla.
