WILLIAM "JAY" JAMES RHODES

March 08, 1966 - September 05, 2017

William James “Jay” Rhodes, passed from this life on September 5, 2017 at the age of 51 years, 5 months, and 28 days.  Jay was born on March 8, 1966 to William “Kenneth” Rhodes and Alice Mae (Idlett) in Dallas, TX.  He grew up in the Seiling Area graduating High School with the Class of 1985. 

Jay worked on a drilling rig most of his life, mostly in the Seiling and Clinton area.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting deer, cooking out, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Jay was preceded in death by four infant children, Jacob, Caleb, Jayson, and Jayme Rhodes, his mother, Alice Rhodes, and sister, Kenberly Rhodes.

Jay is survived by his four children, Brandon Nowlin and wife Annette of Clinton, Shannon Love and husband Michael of Guthrie, Jordan Rhodes  and Jared Rhodes both of Clinton, 5 grandchildren, Braylon, Brynlee, Zavin, Zaviana, and Mikey, father William “Kenneth” Rhodes of Seiling, niece, Tara Meister of Lahoma, as well as many other extended family and friends.
