Vickie Lee (Kirkpatrick) Rapp passed from this life on February 23, 2019 surrounded by her family in Seiling, OK. She was born on December 13, 1950 to Elwin and Margaret Kirkpatrick in Marland, OK. Vickie grew up in the Tonkawa area graduating Tonkawa High School with the Class of 1969. She continued her education at NWOSU in Alva, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 1973.
On August 14, 1971, she married the love of her life Michael Anthony “Mike” Rapp in Tonkawa and to this union three children, Chris, Jenni, and Kirk were born. The couple made their home on the family farm while Vickie worked as an accountant, eventually starting her own business Vickie’s Bookkeeping Service. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Richmond Country Church, and an adult leader of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls for many years.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years, Mike Rapp, and a son, Kirk Anthony Rapp.
She is survived by two children, Chris Rapp and wife Chelli of Hennessey, OK, and Jenni Walters and husband Jerry of Mutual, OK; grandchildren Ashton, Kaden, and Kallie Rapp, and RaeAnn Walters; sister Janice Rahn; sister-in-law Rhonda Rapp; niece Deana Pogue, and nephew Glen Rahn as well as many other relative and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Richmond Country Church. Burial is to follow at Brumfield Cemetery.
Memorial Donations in Vickie's honor may be made to the Seiling Fire and Ambulance with Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663) serving as custodian of the funds.
