BYREL WAYNE ENGLAND, son of Glen William and Eula (Ball) England, was born November 23, 1939 at Mooreland, OK. He departed this life Friday, January 4, 2013 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 73 years.
Byrel was raised just south of Chester where he attended Chester School through the 8th grade. He transferred to Seiling High School where he graduated in 1958. He attended one year at Southwestern in Weatherford. He married Estella Kimball, October 3, 1959 at the Canton Christian Church. They had one daughter, Cindee Lynn. He was united in marriage to Carlotta Ransom July 31, 1982 at the Canton Methodist Church. They made their home in Canton before moving to Chester where they have continued to make their home. Byrel began working for J. B. Smith at his auto body repair shop in Seiling. Later he bought the business and became self employed and moved the business to Chester. He also enjoyed farming and ranching. As a hobby, Byrel began wood working with cedar lumber and created many beautiful pieces. He also liked gardening and refurbishing old cars.
He is survived by his wife, Carlotta England of Chester, his daughter, Cindee McKinley of Kila, Montana and his step daughter, Kim Nelson and husband Drew of Perry; ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter; one sister, Conny Everett and husband Lynn of Seiling and two brothers, Bob England and wife Mary Lee of Grove and Allen England and wife Valerie of Weatherford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Seiling with Pastors Paul Hamilton and Dennis Adair, officiating. Interment will follow in the Brumfield Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Methodist Memorial Fund, the Area Medical Foundation or the Community Ambulance Service with Redinger Funeral Home-Box 236-Seiling 73663 serving as custodian of the funds.
