ROSS M. ARCHER

4 Jan 1911 - 6 Jun 1988

Chester – Funeral services for Ross M. Archer, 77, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday in the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel in Seiling, with David Brown, pastor of the Friends Church, officiating.

He died early Monday at his home southeast of Chester, following a long illness.

He was born January 4, 1911, at North Loup, Nebraska, and moved to a farm southeast of Chester as an infant with his parents. He attended school at Lakeside and graduated from Seiling high school.

He married Blanche Dedrick on March 13, 1931, and they lived on a farm southeast of Chester.

He was a retired farmer and retired custodian for Seiling Public Schools, and was a member of the Seiling Friends Church.

He is survived by his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Leon (Joan) Bostian of Perkins; Mrs. Scott (Lois) Jackman of Pratt, Kansas, and Mrs. Leroy (Geri) Lyon of Great Bend, Kansas; eight grandchildren, and seven great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.
