Shirley Nell (Dye) Tremain, 76-years old Grove resident passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 in Grove.
Shirley was born August 22, 1937 to Clyde and Nellie (Taylor) Dye at Mt. Home, Arkansas.
She was a housewife and a member of the First Christian Church. She loved her family, cooking, flowers, birds, and enjoyed a break with a diet-pepsi pop and all of her soap operas.
She also loved country music and the Atlanta Braves.
She married Gerald Dean Tremain on November 1, 1953. Her husband and parents, sisters, Millie Bishop, Thelma Fanning, Vera Sue Haney and Linda Kaye Dye preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her children, Richard Tremain and wife Judy of Olathe, Kan., Mark Tremain of Girard, Kan., Ralph Tremain and wife Tracey of Zena, Okla., Jack Tremain and wife Beverly of Saddlebrook, Mo., and Donna Caudill and husband Marlon of Grove; sisters, Frances Miller, Alice Hunt, Carolyn Nichols, Betty Dye, Wanda Bennett, Evelyn Steitler and Bertha Cantrell; 11grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 28, 2014 at Hickory Grove Cemetery at 10 a.m., with Pastor Larry Hendren officiating.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
