Allen Deward Davidson

Allen Deward Davidson was born on April 18, 1945, in Flagstaff, AZ, to Deward & Lilly Louise (Boone) Davidson. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at his home, at the age of 67 years, 10 months, & 24 days.
Growing up, Allen lived in California where he graduated from Shafter High School. He then served his country in the United States Army where he worked in recon and was a driver for enlistees. Allen was a hard & diversified worker. He received training as a truck driver & welder. He had been a state certified police officer & was known to be a very good carpenter.
For the past 8 years, Allen was a resident of the Locust Grove area. He had also lived in Kenwood, Oklahoma, as well as spending some time in California, Nevada, Washington, & Indiana. Allen, above all things, was a born again believer of his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Euwasha Baptist Church in Kenwood, OK.
On August 21, 2004, in Eureka Springs, AR, Allen Davidson & the former Carolyn Pierce were united in marriage. Allen loved to hunt & go fishing. He also had a passion for riding motorcycles. He was a skilled wood craftsman & enjoyed going for drives wherever the road may lead him. Allen loved his family dearly & will be missed by all that knew him.
Allen is survived by: His wife: Carolyn Davidson of the home; 1 son: Allen Lee “Boo” Davidson of Kenwood, OK; 1 daughter: Kelly Davidson Wolfe of Peggs, OK; 3 grandsons: Darren Eric-Allen Wolfe, Kayden Michael Wolfe, & Maisen Lee Wolfe, all of Peggs, OK; 1 step-granddaughter: Brandi Hubbi of Grove, OK; 1 brother: George Jolly & wife Judy of Adair, OK; 1 sister: Norma Colvin & husband Sam of Calousa, CA; 2 step-sons: Danny Pierce & wife Bridget of Peggs, OK & Johnny Pierce and wife Shelley of Peggs, OK; 2 step-daughters: Patricia Politte & husband Steve of Chelsea, OK & Debbie Bostick of Pryor, OK; Allen was preceded in death by: his parents & 1 brother: Jimmy Davidson.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Euwasha Baptist Church in Kenwood, Oklahoma. Reverend Roy Evans will officiate. Interment will follow at the Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood, Oklahoma.
