Cindy K. Sixkiller of Little Kansas, Oklahoma died at 3:16 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma after a brief illness. She was 53.
Cindy was born July 27, 1954 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Claude and Lula (Blackfox) Sixkiller, Sr. She graduated from Little Kansas High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing beading and quilting.
In March 2001, she married Robert Bartleson in Little Kansas, Oklahoma. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Mary Bartleson of Little Kansas; two sons, Vernon Bartleson and Barrett Bartleson both of Little Kansas; seven sisters, Sandra Foreman of Colcord, Sonora Sixkiller King, Peggy Sixkiller, Polly Sixkiller, Claudine Sixkiller, Edith Sixkiller all of Little Kansas; two brothers, Claude Sixkiller, Jr. and Charles Sixkiller both of Little Kansas; and two granddaughters, Jessica Hernandez and Emily Hernandez both of Little Kansas.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2008 at New Green Baptist Church near Little Kansas, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Blackfox Cemetery near Little Kansas, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Tony Foreman, Jason Foreman, Jacob Sixkiller, Russell Sixkiller, Jack Russell, and Santo Tanner.
