Allie Zelma George

Nov. 22, 1897 ~ Jan. 10, 2002

CLINTON, Okla. - Allie Zelma George, 104, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, in Amarillo, Texas.

Services will be Wednesday in Stanley-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with the Rev. Alvis Merrill and the Rev. Frank Norred officiating. Burial will be in Stafford Cemetery in Stafford.

Mrs. George was born Nov. 22, 1897, near Cleburne. She married Chester George on Sept. 6, 1914, south of Canute, Okla.

Survivors include two sons, Chester E. George of San Bernadino, Calif., and Edwin L. George of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 54 great-great-grandchildren.
