Carrie Sue (Cummins) Ford, 71 year old resident of Leedey, Oklahoma, passed from this life on May 3, 2014, in Woodward, Oklahoma. She was born November 10, 1942, to Everett and Juanita Cummins in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was a member of the class of 1960, at Stafford High School.

On June 15, 1975, Sue married Larry Ford at the First Church of God in Clinton, Oklahoma. They made their home in Leedey where Sue was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching OU sports and was an avid Leedey Bison fan. When the Sports Owner’s Association voted to give Oklahoma an NBA team, Sue added OKC Thunder to her “beloved team” collection. Sue had an infectious smile and personality and always had a “Hello” for everyone she met. Sue was baptized as a young adult and was a member of the First Church of God, Clinton, Oklahoma.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Juanita Cummins, sister JoAnn Schroeder, grandchild Bailey Downey and father-in-law Boyd Fawver.
