Services for Mrs. Florence A. Huff Simpson were conducted at the Church of Christ, Hammon, Oklahoma, August 31, 1951 at 2:30 p.m.
Elmer Shackelford of Leedey, and W. I. Trent of Hammon were the officiating ministers.
Burial was in Moorewood cemetery.
Florence A. Huff was born to Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Huff, January 31, 1883 at Garvin, Texas.
She departed this life August 30, 1951, at the age of 68 years 5 months and 30 days.
She was married to Richard L. Simpson February 10, 1901, who preceded her in death in 1928.
Her parents preceded her in death many years ago.
She, with her parents moved to Texmo community in northeast Roger Mills county in 1899, where she resided until about five years ago, when she bought her home in Hammon.
She obeyed the Gospel at the early age of sixteen years, and was a faithful Christian until her passing.
She leaves to mourn her departure, a foster son, Tommy Wilkinson of Blackwell, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Nora E. Page of Hammon; one brother-in-law, Henry Stice of Moorewood, Oklahoma; nieces, Mrs. Marguerite Whitson of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Frank Stricklan of Collbran, Colorado; nephews, Warren Page of Wichita, Kansas; Charles Stice of Elk City, Oklahoma; Leslie Stice of Urbana, Illinois; and Paul Stice of Moorewood, Oklahoma; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.
