Funeral services for Blant Steven Sharp were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2003 at Hermitage First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Hostettler and Rev. Curtis Owens officiating under the direction of Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home in Wheatland, Missouri.
Burial and graveside services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2003 at the Moorewood Cemetery in Moorewood, Custer County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City, Oklahoma.
Blant Steven Sharp of Wheatland, Missouri was born June 26, 1986 at Elk City, Oklahoma and passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri at the age of 17.
He was a sophomore at Wheatland High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hermitage, Missouri.
Survivors include his parents Charlie and Jacki Varnell of the home; three brothers, Andy Sharp of Hammon, Oklahoma; Cody Varnell and Cory Varnell, both of Quitaque, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Rose Sharp of Hammon, Oklahoma; and his paternal grandmother, Christine Loomis of Sayre, Oklahoma; as well as numerous friends and loved ones.
