Services for Mrs. Delbert Anderson were held in the Moorewood Baptist Church Saturday afternoon, with Rev. John Chandler, pastor officiating.

Burial was in the Moorewood cemetery, Moorewood, Custer County, Oklahoma.

Helen Juanita Pierce was born May 23, 1910 near Butler, Oklahoma and departed this life at the age of 40 years 8 months and 8 days.

August 30, 1930 she was united in marriage to Delbert Anderson, Butler. To this union were born four children, Clyde 16, Carrol 13, June 11, and Donnie 3. Beside her husband and children she leaves to mourn her going away, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Ethel Jackson, Byers, Texas, Mrs. Mabel Hughes, Ephrata, Washington; Earl Pierce, Butler, Oklahoma. Her parents and two sisters preceded her in death.

At the age of 12 years she was united with the Missionary Baptist Church at Butler, and in 1935 united with the Moorewood church, where she remained until her departure.

Juanita was the Christian mother who fulfilled the Scripture--Proverbs 22:6 -- "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."

Beside other relatives there is a host of friends who will treasure the memory of her friendship.
