Janet Kathleen Stevenson

February 04, 1965 ~ November 22, 2017

Graveside service for Janet Kathleen Stevenson, 52 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma, resident, was Saturday, November 25, 2017, in Greenwood Cemetery with Earl Stephenson officiating.   

Service was under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Janet was born February 4, 1965, in Okemah, Oklahoma, to John W. and Phillys (Lee) Stevenson and passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.   

Janet was in the family home until 1970, when she went to live in the Children's Shelter in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In 1971, she was moved to the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center in Enid, (NORCE), where she remained until 2014, when she moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  

Janet enjoyed swimming, listening to music, and swinging. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Mission Fund. 

Janet is survived by her parents, John and Phillys Stevenson of Weatherford; a sister, Carol Stevenson of Weatherford; a nephew, Andrew John Stevenson of Weatherford; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
