Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Eaton, 75 years old, Weatherford, Oklahoma resident were held in the First Baptist Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma on Monday afternoon, October 17, 1988 at 3:00 p.m. with former Pastor Rev. Bob Evans, of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Associate Pastor Rev. Darryl Moore of Weatherford, oklahoma, officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Weatherford, Oklahoma, under the direction of the Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Easton was born at Sentinel, Oklahoma on November 29, 1912 and died at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma late Thursday evening, October 13, 1988. The G.E. Jones family moved to Weatherford in 1915 where Geraldine attended the Weatherford Public Schools and was married to Mr. Homer Eaton on March 9, 1929 at Weatherford, Oklahoma. She had worked with her husband in the Eaton IGA Foodline in Weatherford for 38 years. Mrs. Eaton was a member of the First Baptist Church, Criterion Club, Thursday Bridge Club and the Eastern Star. Memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church Organ Fund. Geraldine had been in failing health for the past 2 years.

She is survived by her husband, Homer Eaton, Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, A.H. Eaton, Weatherford, Oklahoma and Dr. Bob Eaton, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Janice Whetzal, Apache, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; one brother, G.E. Jones, Jr., Weatherford, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jerry Emmitt Eaton; one grandson, Tommy Eaton and one brother, George Millard Jones.
