Minerva Lois Prestridge Agee, 88, of Bethany, Oklahoma died July 7, 1985.

Services will be held Friday, July 12, 1985 at 10 a.m. at the Council Road Baptist Church Chapel, Bethany, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, Custer County, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Agee is the daughter of a pioneer family in the Cheyenne area. She was born September 29, 1896 in Hood County, Texas and came as a small child to the Cheyenne area with her parents, Sarrah Elizabeth and George Taylor Prestridge. She still has one nephew living in Cheyenne, George Wallace Prestridge.

Preceding her in death was her husband Daniel Cooper Agee who died July 25, 1969 in Clinton. The couple was married December 21, 1919 in Cheyenne. Also a daughter, Cora Bernice Womack, June 14, 1951, in Watonga. Two sisters and eight brothers.

Survivors include on sister, Margaret George, Edmond; three daughters, Georgia Agee Rush, West Richland, Washington; Flora Margaret Agee and Johnnie Agee Owings, both of Bethany. Mr. and Mrs. Agee also raised a grandson, Steven Lynn Womack, Oklahoma City. She is survived by four other grandchildren, Mrs. Jeannette Hasser, Canoga Park, California; Daniel C. Rush, Seattle, Washington; Benjamin L. Rush, Van Nuys, California; and George L. Rush, Summer Fortuna, California. Other survivors include eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Cheyenne High School and Draughon's School of Business, Oklahoma City. Organizations to which she belonged: American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors and the Baptist Church. She was a piano teacher for many years.

In charge of the arrangements is Bill Merritt Funeral Service, Bethany, Oklahoma.
