Larry Dean Davis passed from this life on March 21, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 28 days. Larry was born December 22, 1945 in Clinton, OK to his parents Paul and Mary Ann (Harms) Davis.

Larry and Marva Jean Howry were married in Wheeler, Texas on December 22, 1970. They lived in Porum and Butler, OK for several years before moving to the Elk City area to make their home. Larry proudly and faithfully served his country in the United States Army. He provided for his family as a truck driver in the oil field industry. Many hours were spent around the pond with his 5 girls, fishing, boating and even bear hunting Larry enjoyed farming and restoring old cars.

Although Larry is no longer with us, his memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends he leaves behind which include his wife of the home; Marva Jean Davis, 5 daughters, Angie McBride of Edmond, OK, Lisa and husband David Lamar of Edmond, OK, Cheleta Morton of Oklahoma City, OK, Robin Alford of Elk City, OK, Patty and Jeremy Carlton of Butler, OK, his twin sister, Betty and husband Raymond Hargues of Elk City, OK, 1 brother, Don and wife Connie Davis of Kansas City, MO, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives, longtime friends, and neighbors.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Ronnie, Robert "Bobby" and George "Patty" Davis, and 1 grandson, Rodney Hagan.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 26,2020 at Butler Cemetery, Butler, OK. Full Military Honors will be observed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 8:00 AM ~ 8:00 PM at Whinery Funeral Service, Elk City.

The family has chosen Whinery Funeral Service with their services.
