Myra Lee (Roman Nose) Sanchez

Funeral services were held for Myra Lee Roman Nose Sanchez in Clinton on April 3, 1999 at the Clinton Regional Hospital.

She was born in Clinton on December 6, 1947, the daughter of Sidney and Edna Swallow Roman Nose.

She was raised in the Hammon area, attending school there.

She was married to Vernon Beaver in 1969, John Sanchez in 1974 and Elton Starr in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three infant children; and a sister, Nora Whitehorse.

Survivors include two daughters, Josie Lee Beaver and Sandy Jean Hawkins of Clinton; three sons, Roy Dean Beaver, Christopher Tony Sanchez and Buddy James Roman Nose; five sisters, Senoma Roman Nose of Clinton; Alberta Thunderbull, Gladys Roman Nose, Stella Roman Nose, all of Elk City; Nadine Seven Starr of Clinton; five brothers, Theodore Roman Nose of California; Wayne Roman Nose of Ute Park, New Mexico; Waynoma Roman Nose of Elk City; and Martin Roman Nose of Montana; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Burial was in the Hammon Indian Cemetery.
