Margaret Anne Pearson Vanderslice

Margaret Anne Vanderslice was born on December 1, 1948, to J.T. Pearson and Eula (Jones) Pearson in Dos Palos, California. She departed this life on August 4, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years.

Margaret enjoyed reading books, watching movies, and listening to the radio; she especially liked country music. As well, she collected angels.

She leaves behind one son, Gary Vanderslice and one daughter, Tammy Jones and husband Travis; five grandchildren, Treye Vanderslice, Christine Jones, Madison Jones, Jaden Jones and Nevaeh Jones; two great grandchildren, Anthony and Saiya Vanderslice; two sisters and one brother as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and caregivers. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Funeral services are 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel with Reverend Randy Shaddox officiating. Burial will follow at Tuskegee Cemetery.
