Danny Ray Cooper , age 57 of Yale, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at his home in Yale.
Danny Ray Cooper was born in Bristow, Oklahoma, on June 30, 1959 to Ernest L. and Evelyn Maxine (Ralston) Cooper.
He grew up in Depew/Kellyville area, and graduated from Kellyville High School in 1978.
He began working for BC Glass Company for many years. Danny married Yvonne “Jane” Green on June 6, 1985 in Kellyville, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Bristow area for over 20 years and attended the Bristow Christian Center.
He enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors, playing cards, listening to music, drinking coffee, and playing dominoes, but most of all he liked being a husband, dad and grandpa.
Danny loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons: Joe Green of Mounts, Daniel Cooper of Sapulpa; one step-son: Eugene Matthews of Yale; one daughter: Ramona Graham and husband David of Yale; one step-daughter: Yvonne “Wendy” Carothers of Sapulpa; one brother: Dennis Long of Depew; nine grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren, one great-grandson and three step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jane Cooper, brother Ricky Cooper, half brother David Cooper, and sister Melinda Cooper.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing. Funeral Services will be held on July 11, 2016, at 10 a.m., at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery, Kellyville, Oklahoma. He will be laid to rest with his wife, Jane.
