Katharine Ezella Henshaw-Daniels was born December 29, 1917 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Menzo and Clara (Futhey) Clark and departed this life to be with her Lord on June 12, 2009 in Barlesville, OK., at the home of her son, George Henshaw. She was 91 years old.
Katharine was preceded by her parents, her husband; George Allen Henshaw, her second husband; Earl Daniels; and her daughter; Edna Gale Mathis and Katherine Elaine Brewster.
She is survived by many relatives and friends including her 3 sons; George A. Henshaw and wife Judy of Bartlesville, OK, Dale E. Henshaw and wife Peggy of Ponca City, OK, and Stephen A. Henshaw of Tahlequah, OK., one sister; Viola Marshall of Jacksonville, NC., 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dale Henshaw and Rev. Margaret Hatchett officiating. Interment followed in the Shamrock City Cemetery in Shamrock, OK., under the direction of the Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK.
