Cyndi Riccardi was born on February 16, 1967, in Pomona, California to Richard and Marthetta "Mardi" Riccardi (Blevins). She passed from this life on March 3, 2025, at the age of 58 years & 15 days, surrounded by her loving family and cherished fur babies.
Cyndi was raised in Chino Hills, California, and was a graduate of Don Lugo High School in 1985. In 1999 she moved to Drumright, Oklahoma to be closer to her mother and sister, Wendy. Cyndi was a dedicated member of her community, generously volunteering her time at the Drumright Methodist Church and in the nursery at the Drumright Church of the Nazarene. Cyndi volunteered for many years up until her health no longer allowed her to do so.
Above all, Cyndi's greatest joy was her family. She devoted her life to raising her son, Michael, whom she lovingly referred to as her "Pride and Joy" and her "Miracle Child." Her face would light up with pride whenever she spoke of him. She cherished time spent with loved ones, creating unforgettable memories. She especially enjoyed time on the lake with her sister Wendy and brother-in-law Danny - Sometimes even taking the wheel of their jet boat for a spin. She also loved traveling with her family, treasuring every trip they took together.
One of Cyndi's fondest memories was a family camping trip to the Redwoods. Back then, they all slept in her dad's truck under a camper shell. At night, bears wandered through their campsite, but the real adventure came when her dad's Coleman camp stove nearly set a tree on fire. Not long after, he decided it was time to invest in a travel trailer.
Cyndi enjoyed crafts, crocheting, reading, collecting cookbooks, and watching movies. Through years of physical health challenges, she found comfort and companionship in her beloved fur babies, who remained by her side until the very end. Cyndi was known for her kindness and warm spirit, but she also had a feisty side. She stood up for what she believed in and was never afraid to speak her mind. She loved meeting new people and had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. Those who knew her could always count on her to remember their birthdays and special milestones. She was everyone's biggest cheerleader--the loudest voice in the crowd, always rooting for those she loved.
Cyndi's love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Her kindness and unwavering support left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her infant twin daughters, Chistianna and Marissa; her infant son, Tony; and her mother, Marthetta Riccardi (Blevins).
She leaves behind her son, Michael Riccardi and fiance', Ashley of Drumright; her father, Richard Riccardi and wife June, of Milfay; her sister, Wendy Davis and husband Danny, of Mannford; her brothers, John DeRose and wife Pam, of Las Vegas, NV - Kevin DeRose of Bullhead City, AZ - Kenneth Hilbert and wife Becky, of Wellston & Kerry Hilbert and wife Shelly, of Milfay; her nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
