February 10, 1953 - February 4, 2025

Stephen Ward Kebert of Collinsville passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at home surrounded by his loved ones. Steve was born on February 10, 1953, in Independence, KS to loving parents, Kenneth Eugene and Billie Marie (Ward) Kebert.

Steve grew up in Drumright, OK and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He made his career in the Oil and Gas Industry and retired from Chevron after 36 years of service. Steve married Viki Venable on August 11, 1973, in Drumright, OK. They lived in Utah for 32 years before retiring to Oklahoma 12 years ago to be closer to family.

Steve liked playing golf and enjoyed many rounds together with his son Cory. He also enjoyed fishing and boating. Steve was a man who found peace in solitude. One of his favorite places to fish while living in Utah was Flaming Gorge Reservoir. He also loved fishing with his late father in Florida over the years.

Steve was very much involved with his four wonderful grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them compete at their sporting events, taking them to the shooting range, and boating with them at the lake. Being Grandad was a joy and peak of his life.

Steve is survived by his loving wife Viki Kebert of Collinsville; blessed with two children, daughter Kelly (Kebert) Jaussi and husband Jeff of Frisco, TX; son Cory Kebert and wife Vanessa of Tulsa, OK; twin sister Stacy (Kebert) Blue of Garland, TX; brother Neal Kebert and wife Cathy of The Villages, FL; four grandchildren, Andrew Kebert (16), Kendall Jaussi (15), Carter Kebert (14), and Khloe Jaussi (12). Steve was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Miller Hospice are suggested: Miller Hospice, 6950 S Utica Ave, Tulsa, OK 74136. (918) 742-6415.
