Erma was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on July 21, 1927. She passed from this life in Katy, Texas on September 22, 2021 at the age of 94 years, 2 months, & 1 day. Erma was raised & educated in Drumright & had lived here the majority of her life. She married Walter "J.R." Hoover & they remained together until his death in 2011. Erma enjoyed many things in life but none more than raising her children & her church life. She was a longtime member of the Drumright First Baptist Church & the Drumright Senior Citizens. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a Son: Walter Hoover, III; Daughter: Beverly Hoover in 1985 & Daughter Phyllis Faires in 1973. She leaves behind 2 CHILDREN: Deanna Comeaus & husband James of Katy, Texas – Sharon Demore & husband Michael of Chicago; Grandchildren: Alisha & Payton – Ryan & Abby – Jason & Tonya – Keith & Kendra – James, Jr. & Emily – Brian & Becca - & Michael; Great Grandchildren: Katie – Taylor – Liam – Derek – Chase – Reese – Hallie – Marlee - & Aubree; other relatives and friends.
