Robert Ray Neal, 84, died June 14, 2016 in OKC. He was born June 28, 1931 in Wetumka, OK to Robert and Mary (Scott) Neal. He served in the US Army in Korea. A sign painter, he was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher at Baptist Temple. He was very artistic, lived and breathed baseball, and was an avid wood carver and knife collector. He and his wife were international hosts for many, many years. Bob was a mainstay at the OCU baseball diamond, known and beloved by the team through the years. He was a masterful storyteller and captured the attention of everyone around him, but his favorite audiences were his grandkids, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lillie, daughter, Mary, brother, Roscoe, and sisters Neva and Peggy. Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia Quiroga of Tempe, AZ; son, Jason Neal; sisters, Gay Forrest and Corena Holland; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services will be Monday, June 20, 10:30am at Baptist Temple with interment in Oakdale Cemetery, Depew, OK.
