Glen William Jones, sr



April 26, 1944 ~ October 15, 2024

Glen was born in San Diego, California on April 26, 1944 to the late David Jones & Frances (Sorric) Jones. He passed from this life suddenly at his home on October 15, 2024 at the age of 80 years, 5 months, & 19 days. Glen was raised & educated in Keyes, California & was a graduate of Turlock High School where he excelled in sports, most notably as a football linebacker. On April 7, 1965 he married Lucricia Pat Jones in Carson City, Nevada & they made their home in California for many years. Glen had worked as a foreman for the Northern California Labor Union #1130 until his retirement. In 2001 they packed up their stuff & moved from Groveland, California to Bristow where they have remained. Glen enjoyed fishing, reading westerns, talking politics, & gardening. While in California, he had a huge garden & would share his produce with his neighbors. But the most joy he received was spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: David & Jimmy Jones; & 2 Sisters: Glenda Asbill & Wanda Bounty.

His remaining family include his WIFE: Lucricia Pat Jones of the home; CHILDREN: Glen Jones, III of California – Jeanette Jones of Agra; Grandchildren: Crystal – Amber – Kayla – Glenn, III – Heather - & Monica; 3 Great Grandchildren: Athena – Logan - & Abigail; a Sister: Frances Jones of California; plus several Nieces – Nephews – Cousins – Other relatives - & friends.
