Robert C. Tucker was born October 17, 1941 to William and Ruby Tucker in Bristow, Oklahoma. He departed this life September 11, 2025 at the age of 83 years.
Robert was raised in Bristow and attended school in Bristow. When He came of age he enlisted in the United States Army serving faithfully until his honorable discharge. Robert Tucker and Erma Keel were united in marriage; to this union was born one daughter, Sherry. He and Marzet Reynolds were married some years later and blessed again with another daughter, Felicia. Robert was married a third time to Yvonne Warley gaining four stepchildren. Robert was married a fourth time to Sharon Tucker. Robert supported his family(s) as a factory worker. He was a people person. Conversation and banter were never in short supply with Robert; he always left you with pranks or jokes that ensued laughter. Robert was strong in his faith and was an active member of Church that Matters in Sand Springs, OK. as well as house church under the leadership of Mom Gunn. He was proud of his military service. He lent a helping hand providing transportation services to veterans in need also serving with Vets that Matter and delivering for meals on wheels.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Sherry White and husband Kerry Leon White II of Tulsa and Felicia Tucker Hampton of Broken Arrow; stepdaughter Bridgett Hunter and stepsons, Aaron Hunter and Rodney Farley; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three wives, one stepdaughter, Sonya; six brothers, Floyd Tucker, Roy Tucker, Clay Tucker, Conrad Allen, James Allen, and William Allen; three sisters, Florine Galloway, Barbara Allen-Briggs and Willie Mae Tucker. He was the last of his generation.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am, Friday, September 19, 2025 at Church That Matters in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at 3:00pm at Harlinsville Cemetery near Bristow.
