Ronald Harold Sawyer (Ronnie) was born on December 8, 1962, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to parents Harold and Leona Sawyer. He passed away on October 28, 2024, in Mounds, Oklahoma, at the age of 61.
As soon as Ronnie graduated from Sapulpa High School, he went to work at Cust-O-Fab for the next 36 years where he met countless friends along the way. He enjoyed competing in barbecue competitions, riding motorcycles with friends, attending car shows, spending time with family and friends and socializing in the Lion’s Den. While his sons were growing up, he coached Little League Baseball and was involved with local rodeo playdays.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Leona Sawyer, his siblings Johnny Sawyer, Karyl Sawyer and Bobby Sawyer, and his daughter Ashley Sawyer.
Ronnie is survived by his children Matt Sawyer and wife Lindsey of Quinton, Cade Sawyer of Stigler, Brittany Cole and husband Jake of Stigler, grandchildren Corbin Sawyer, Rhett Sawyer, Easton Sawyer, Riley Stewart, Jase Cole and Jaxton Cole, sister Lana Morrison and husband Mike of Sapulpa, niece Julie Fletcher and husband Matt of Sapulpa, nephew Ryan Kerr and wife Jennifer of Sapulpa, and numerous friends and extended family members.
