Bruce Darrel Fine

Bruce was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on July 29, 1926 (known as a Dr. Orange Starr baby) to the late James Otis Fine & Doreen (Diamond) Fine. He passed from this life in Pawnee, Oklahoma on November 26, 2024 at the age of 98 years, 3 months, & 28 days.

Bruce was raised & educated in Drumright & was a 1944 graduate of Drumright High School. That same year, he joined the United States Army & served his country during WWII. He then returned home and attended Oklahoma A & M and studied electrical engineering

.

In 1950 he married Joy Blose and they made their home in Yale, Oklahoma. Bruce was the owner / operator of Evergreen Electrical for many years until his retirement. In 1959, his wife Joy unexpectedly passed away. He later met Nellie Walker & they were united in marriage on June 10, 1961. Bruce was a devoted husband & family man. He loved his church and country & enjoyed singing hymns & patriotic songs. He enjoyed traveling all over the western United States. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Joy in 1959; & 2 Brothers: Frank & Dale Fine.

His remaining family includes his loving wife: Nell Fine; Children: Sandy & Jim Williams, Mary Fine, Paula & Scott Balke; Grandchildren: James & Sarah, Collin & Jena, Luke & Lauryn; Great Grandchildren: Isaac & Ivey, Thomas Bruce & Avery, Campbell; PLUS Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins - & other family members.
