Julian Avell Rose Cole was born August 26, 1992 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He departed this life December 15, 2020 at the age 28 years 3 months and 19 days.

Julian spent his early childhood in the Bristow area and later moved to Glenpool where he would finish school, graduating in 2011. He was known for being a great athlete and gave his all to help his Warrior teammates win the 2008 4A football State Championship. Julian continued playing football at Haskell Indian Nations University for a short time. He always found time to fish and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but his true joy in life was his son, Julius.

Julian will be remembered as a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and a generous friend. In many ways, Julian made the lives of all his family and friends richer and fuller. He will be remembered for his caring nature, his larger-than-life personality, his contagious laugh and beautiful smile.

Julian is survived by his parents, Alison and Oscar Rose; one son, Julius Cole; two sisters, Autumn Rose and Myla Garris, and two brothers Oscar Rose Jr and Montay Garris.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin “Petey” Cole; grandfather, Ed Frank; grandfather, Larry Cole; and Grandparents, Arthur and Beverly Rose.

“We’ll Miss you Jules.”

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Thomas Clarty officiating. Interment will follow at the Bigpond Family Cemetery.
