Nellie H. Delung

Nellie H. Delung was born October 3rd, 1866 in Rutland, Ill. and died April 22nd, 1905 at big Timber Hill, age 38 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

She was married to Robert B. Delung, Jan. 16th, 1883. To this union 9 children were born, eight of whom are still living, five girls and three boys.

She professed to know that the Son of God was her living and personal Savior about five years ago and united with the Baptist Church at Oyer, St. Clair Co. Mo. and lived a holy life since.

She leaves a kind and loving husband and eight children to mourn her departure and many kind friends and neighbors who join in sympathy with the bereaved family.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. T.C. Darnell of Welch at Little Timber Hill Cemetery, text was taken from Matt. 24c 32v. Theme: The importance of being ready when the death angel comes.
