William Clinton Sturdivant, 89-year-old lifetime Vinita resident, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Eastwood Manor in Commerce. He was born on April 21, 1935, in Vinita to Jasper Clinton Sturdivant and Jesse Opal (Ridenhour) Sturdivant. Clint served his country in the United States Army after high school. He was united in marriage to Deana Ramsey on September14, 1959 in Vinita. Clint and Deana owned and operated a residential care home for many years, he also ran cattle and horses. Clint enjoyed his horses and cowboying. He was a member of the Vinita Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Maudie Haddock.
The family includes his wife Deana of the home, daughter Robyn Gaskill of Vinita, granddaughter Lyndie McKinney of Vinita, grandson Josh McKinney and wife Melanie of Tulsa, great-grandchildren, Brian Tune, Eden and Asher McKinney, numerous other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church.
