Doris Gene Cravens, 84, of Norman, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, in Norman. The daughter of George Dewey Kelley and Leona Jane (Godwin) Kelley, she was born March 4, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Doris was a member of the Crossroads to Life Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, camping, cooking, travelling, reading and watching westerns.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.R. Cravens; one great grandchild, Isaiah Murray; and two brothers, Dewey Kelley, Jr. and Paul Kelley.
Doris is survived by her two daughters, Mary Murray and her husband, Fred, of Muskogee and Paula Cravens of Langley; two sons, Dewey Cravens and his wife, Trisha, of Blanchard and Howard Cravens and his wife, Kelly, of Haysville, Kansas; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and one on the way; one sister, Dorothy Green of Del City; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 30, 2015, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Graveside service and burial will be at 4:00 P.M., at the Ketchum Cemetery in Ketchum, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
