Billie Katherine Trolinger, Edmond resident and former longtime Pryor resident, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, surrounded by family at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born September 17, 1932, in Vinita, Oklahoma to Walter A. and Katherine (Roberson) Brown. She married Alfred “Al” Trolinger in 1950 in Vinita.
Billie worked for Halliburton in Duncan, Oklahoma as an administrative assistant. Later, she helped her husband, Al, with bookkeeping and other clerical duties for their funeral home in Pryor. Billie was a social butterfly and enjoyed people. She loved to take various trips with her girlfriends. She was known as a “lady who lunches” as she was always going to eat lunch with someone. She also enjoyed keeping up with family members and their activities. Billie loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly and was engaged in their lives. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Pryor, she was active in church and attended regularly.
Billie is survived by her daughter, Pamela Fisher of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Cunningham and husband, Rick, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Dr. Merrick Fisher and husband, Dr. Jonathan Mendoza of Austin, Texas; great-grandchildren, Sybil Cunningham, Avett Cunningham, Omar Mendoza, and Xavier Mendoza; and sister-in-law, Dona Brown, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; parents; and her brother, Walter A. Brown, Jr.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., in the Fairview Cemetery of Vinita with Pastor Stephanie Crogan officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemoriesvinita.com or on the funeral home Facebook page.
