Raymond Floyd Emenhiser, 94-year-old Vinita resident, passed away November 30, 2024, at his home in Vinita. He was born on December 21, 1930, in Vinita to Floyd H. Emenhiser and Mary Gertrude (Greiner) Emenhiser.
Ray grew up in Vinita surrounded by his loving cousins. He loved playing tennis, a game he played most of his life and, they say, contributed to his living to be 94, he also enjoyed woodworking and taking care of his cats. Ray served in the US Air Force. After leaving the military he worked in Los Angeles as a furniture maker until his retirement.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister, Sister Angela Emenhiser.
The surviving family is a step-daughter and caretaker, Martha Leon; cousins, Diane Welch, Sue Bacon, Jane Greiner, Joe Gardner, John Patty, Mary Felchin, Ruth Ann Baldwin, Delores Twillman, Tom Greiner, Jack Greiner, and John Greiner.
Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
