Age 87
A Resident of Vinita, Oklahoma
Orvin was born June 23, 1917 in Vansant County, Texas to William T. and Bertha Mae (Brown) Conner. He attended School in Cotton Wood and Josephine Texas before attending Chelsea High School from 1926 to 1937. He married Ruby B. Collier on November 1, 1939 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Ruby preceded him in death on February 14, 2005.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a retired Barber and Gospel Preacher; Orvin went to be with the Lord Monday evening June 20th at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, Oklahoma.
His parents, Brothers Jessie Conner and sister Anna Conner, also preceded him in death.
He is survived by: One Son, Dan W. Conner of Madison, Wisconsin; Two Daughters, Sharon Laub of Norman, Oklahoma Rose Marie Stanton of Claremore, Oklahoma; One Brother C. B. Conner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Four Sisters, Lucille Ambrosier of Hill City, Kansas, Jimmie Morris of Enid, Oklahoma, Doris Jimmison of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Dorothy Friend of Laverne, Oklahoma; Six Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren; And a host of other relatives and friends.
